Time Change: Not Observed By Babies

I live in the part of the country that observes Daylight Savings Time. So we "fall back" an hour in the fall and "spring forward" an hour in the spring. It has been almost a week since we turned our clocks back an hour. I normally don't mind Daylight Savings Time on either end (springing forward or falling back), but this year has been difficult. "What's changed?" you might ask. I have a 16 month old who can't tell time yet and seems to not give a flip about falling back an hour. She is waking up earlier and earlier every morning. Which is not too horrible, I am blessed with a baby that likes to sleep in until 10 just like her mama. The issue lies in her also staying up later. You would think with the getting up earlier she would go to bed earlier, but that's not the case. Because she gets up 2 to 3 hours earlier than normal (oh yes not 1 hour like you would think but 2 to 3), she naps earlier. Because she naps earlier, she then needs a later nap that messes up her bedtime. So this year I am really feeling the effects of turning the clocks back an hour. Hopefully we will get back on schedule soon.

Do you observe Daylight Savings Time? And if you do how do your little ones handle it?

Side note I will no longer be posting on Saturdays just Monday - Friday. Also if you have any questions or recipes you want me to try and make dairy soy free just leave me a comment, and I'll try my best to answer.
