The Pumpkin Patch
We have marked one thing off our fall to do list, going to the pumpkin patch. This was Bel's first trip to the pumpkin patch. It was a beautiful fall day around 70 degrees and sunny.
Bel liked the hay ride to the pumpkin patch and getting to pick out a pumpkin. On the hay ride she just laid back in my arms and enjoyed the ride. Once at the pumpkin patch she liked walking around and touching the pumpkins.
Other than the pumpkin patch, they had a lot for little kids to do (tire mountain, hippy hops, corn maze, big slide), but Bel's favorite was the animals. She especially liked petting the donkeys. We took pictures and did as much as we could with a 16 month old.
Overall it was a great experience. The only bad part of the day was the slide. Bel did great with her daddy. However, when I took her we went too fast, and it scared her.
Here is a link to their website for those in the area: TN Pumpkin Farm
If you're not in the area you should Google a pumpkin patch near you for a family fun fall day. But hurry most close after October.
